WhatsApp is going to introduce a new feature “Proxy” which will allow WhatsApp users to use WhatsApp even Government blocked the censorship of WhatsApp. At present, this feature is available for beta users for WhatsApp android, Whatsapp iOS, and Whatsapp Desktop. After the announcement of this feature, Whatsapp users can easily access the service of Whatsapp by configuring a proxy. This feature will be very useful in a country where the Whatsapp service has been blocked by Government censorship.
Between
your device and the Internet, a proxy acts as a mediator. When you use a proxy,
your requests for information from the Internet are routed to the proxy first, which
then retrieves the data and gives it back to you. In these situations, a proxy
can be very helpful in enabling users to access a service that would otherwise
be challenging or impossible to access owing to government censorship, as is
the case in
Organizations
committed to facilitating secure communication frequently set up proxy servers.
Go to Settings > Storage & Data > Proxy to connect to a proxy server
using WhatsApp. If the proxy has not been blocked, a green checkmark will show
up, indicating that you can now use WhatsApp through the proxy.
Your
calls and messages are still end-to-end encrypted when you connect to WhatsApp
through a proxy, so keep that in mind. Proxy servers might be able to see your
IP address, which can identify your general location, but they won't be able to
see the contents of your messages or listen in on your private calls. Additionally,
