The company also announced that it is going to provide open access to creator music. Now the largest video-sharing platform, Youtube is rolling out new terms and conditions of the YouTube Partner program. Those YouTubers who have monetized channels must accept the said new terms and conditions by the 10th of July of this year to keep their monetization on YouTube. New YouTube Partner Program terms must be accepted by July 10, 2023 to continue monetizing on YouTube. Partners also need to accept new terms to begin earning Shorts ad revenue starting as early as February 1, 2023, or on the date accepted.

1. New terms for Monetized Youtube channels
YouTube has communicated its new terms to the owners of monetized youtube channels via email. The said email revealed that creators must accept new terms by the 10th of July to continue their monetization. By accepting new terms the creators can earn money from youtube shorts from February 2023. So, we suggest to creators review and accept the new terms of YouTube. The creators can review and accept the new terms from their creator studio by following the below-stated procedure.
- Open a Youtube channel
- Click on the Manage Video button
- Scroll Down the menu and click on the earn option.
- Here you will find the four tabs “Overview”, “watch page ads”, shorts feed ads and shopping
- Open shorts feed ads and review the new terms and accept them.
2. Introduced new ways of earning from YouTube
In a recent update, youtube introduced a new way of earning for youtube creators. The company informed us that it has included new modules to offer new ways of earning to Youtube users. Now YouTubers can unlock new earning opportunities. These opportunities will be unlocked by accepting the newly introduced terms of youtube by following the above-mentioned procedure. The company introduced new ways of earning which are termed modules. Let's see each module one by one.

I. Watch Page Module
Youtube included the watch page monetization module in its contract. This module will provide an opportunity to earn money from this feature. This new way of earning from youtube includes the following areas:
- Youtube pages
- YouTube Music
- YouTube Kids
- Long Form Videos
- Live Streams
- Youtube Premium
- Embedded video on other websites in Youtube Player
Youtube explained in new terms that Creators have to review and accept the terms displayed in the watch time module within the YouTube “Earn” menu as already elaborated above. YouTube also explained that the owners of monetized youtube channels have to review and accept the new term to continue ad earning from this feature.
II. Shorts Module
The review of youtube
studio and the content of new terms revealed that the company has included a new
way of earning for its users in the shape of a shorts module. Now, users can earn money from
shorts. This feature allows its user to
earn from youtube shorts ads feed and also Youtube premium revenue from
eligible shorts with effect from 1st February 2023. By accepting the new term of youtube, the
users can earn money from youtube shorts by 1st February or from
the date of acceptance of the new term, if their videos meet the eligibility criteria. You may see this module in the “earn” section
of youtube studio by following the above-mentioned procedure.
III. Commerce Module
The company introduced the youtube commerce product addendum with new terms. This feature will provide new opportunities for earning money from youtube commerce. This feature will provide a fan funding feature This module allows the users to earn money from super chat, super stickers, and super thanks.
Result of not accepting new terms
At the end of this post, I would like to share the youtube warning for those users who do not accept the updated terms of youtube by the 10th of July 2023. The company informed us that the review and acceptance of new terms are mandatory to join or remained in the youtube partnership program. If you do not accept the said term the company will not share earnings from shorts feed ads with you.
