Government increases pay of Anti corruption establishment

Increase in the pay of Anti-corruption establishment

The Government of Punjab Finance Department has issued notification No.PD.PR.6-3/85 (Pt-II) dated 13-01-2023 regarding increasing the pay of the anti-corruption establishment. This notification has issued after proper approval from the provincial cabinet.  The meeting Provincial Cabinet conducted a meeting to enhance the pay of establishment of anti-corruption on 29-12-2022 and approved the summary.  According to the decision of the aforesaid meeting, the cabinet approved granting the special allowance to the establishment of the anti-corruption department working under the control of the Government of Punjab.  The main points of said approval are as under;

 

1. Grant of Special Allowance:-

The Cabinet approved granting a special allowance to all Civil Servants of the Anti-corruption department who are performing their services under the government of Punjab.

 

2. Rate of Special Allowance

The rate of this allowance will be one initial Basic Pay.


3. Scope of Special Allowance

This allowance will be admissible to all employees of said department.

 

4. Date of Admissibility:

The said allowance will be admissible to the civil servant of the under discussion department with effect from 29-12-2022

 

5. Stoppage of Anti-Corruption allowance

The cabinet also decided to discontinue the fixed Anti-Corruption allowance with effect from 28-12-2022 that was granted to them by the Government of Punjab, Finance Department vide its notification No.SOE-II(S&GAD)3 628/2016 (P) dated 15.09.2017

 

6. Terms and Conditions:

This allowance is not admissible to the following Civil Servants.

 

  1. The Officers working in the Anti-corruption department and drawing Executive Allowance
  2. The officers or officials were kept under suspension.
  3. The officers or officials transferred/posted as Officers/Official on special duty (OSD) due to charges of misconduct or inefficiency or indiscipline.
  4. The officers or officials are not allowed while on Leave beyond 90 days, on extraordinary leave, on training, or on study leave.
  5. It will be not part of pension, commutation, or gratuity.
